Thank you for your interest in joining the Green Bay Boy Choir or Green Bay Girl Choir!

 

General Information 

AUDITIONS FOR THE 2012-1013 SEASON WILL BE  HELD TUESDAY, MAY 8 AND THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2012 FROM 5-8PM. INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN AUDITIONING FOR THE 2012-2013 SEASON SHOULD CALL THE CHOIR OFFICE TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.PLEASE CALL 920-321-0541. ALL AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD AT THE CHOIRS REHEARSAL SITE AT 321 S. MADISON STREET, GREEN BAY, WI

All students aged 7 to high school senior are invited to audition for membership in the choirs. The audition process lasts 10-15 minutes. No prepared music is necessary. Upon acceptance, choir placement will be appropriate to the singer’s age as well as musical development.  Please call the choir office at 920-321-0541 for more information, or email us at gbbcgc@tds.net.   **Membership for students aged 7-9 is open acceptance with the audition for placement only.

Attending our open, week-long, half-day Voice Discovery Camp August 8 – 12, 2011 will give you a wonderful opportunity to try one of the choirs and demonstrate your enthusiasm and skill as you enjoy singing, friendship and activities.  No audition is necessary to attend camp.

We will keep you posted on future audition dates and times.  In the meantime, if you would like information or to schedule an independent audition, you may:

              *Singer’s name and age

              *Singer’s school and current grade level (Fall 2010)

The Green Bay Boy Choir and Girl Choir offers music performance and education programs for boys and girls emphasizing the development of music skills and understanding. The Mission of the organization is to provide quality music instruction with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance. The Choirs endeavor to enrich the lives of children from all religious, racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Through music activities and community involvement, the Choirs help to foster the personal and social growth of its members and promote their sense of self-esteem, accomplishment, and pride.
